I DON’T GET IT!! New Hot Wheels Cars fold into a… rectangular block?

Apparenly, Mattel has just come up with the groundbreaking concept of the first-ever folding Hot Wheels.  Dubbed, “Stealth Rides,” these boxes are the toy giant’s latest innovation for a brand that’s been selling tiny racers in stores for more than 40 years.

To which I say…

Well, there’s a million robots that turn into something.  And this is a CAR that turns into a….  Rectangular Block?  So what’s so fun about playing with a Rectangular Block?  That’s not any fun!!

 Jim Silver, a toy industry analyst and editor in chief of TimetoPlayMag.com held a different opinion stating emphatically, “This is definitely one the coolest new toys in 2010″ .

Silver couldn’t be reached for further comment.  However, the Z Report was able to find a picture of him on file, which we obtained from his former employees; MacMillan toys.
