Vinnie is returning to American Chopper, joins forces with Paul Jr.

american chopper senior vs. junior

YES!!! Now things are REALLY getting interesting!

I’ve said time and time again, Jr. should start his own shop and bring back his good buddy, and expert bike builder Vinnie DiMartino, well that’s exactly what he’s gonna do. Not only that, but he’s also got his bro Mikey and paint whiz Robert ‘Nubby’ Collard on his team. All of this will be going down in the new show ‘American Chopper: Senior vs Junior’ which will premier thisĀ Fall on TLC. Man, I cannot wait for this. I’m a huge fan of Jr. and his bro, and the fact that Vinnie’s gonna be back in the mix makes it all the moreĀ amazing. I wanna see Jr. crush his d-nozzle of a father into dust. Finally he’ll realize who REALLY made OCC what it was.

i am on sr. side, i worked for my husband and i was always expected to work harder and longer than any of the other employees, jr. came in at 10.00 and left at 3.00 and always palmed his work of on vinnie, mike has no talent and lived in his mothers house and paulie has a nice house that i am sure his salary from occ helped pay for, don’t forget when paulie came in and disrupted buisness with his crew of lawyers and accountants to look over the books, there was an independent audit done on the buisness and it showed there was no profit in the company, remember that was ordered by the judge, paulie and mikie are living off of sr’s money and if they don’t start turning a profit soon the buisness is going to bankrupt paulie soon. i hope vinnie has something going besides pjd, i don’t know why he came to work for him because he use to always get mad at paulie coming in late and leaving early and leaving him to do all the work.

Paul Sr to take legal action against his own son – Come on. Paul Sr was a bully in the shop. To take legal action leaves a bitter taste in many viewers mouth. That is not how you treat family. Surely Paul Jr deserves 20%… South Africa

I used to like the show. The constant bickering always from Paul Sr got to be tiresome. Now with the present format (Paul Jrs own business) we get relief from Sr. You can see thru one of Jrs employees going to OCC to learn from Rick and Sr not letting Rick go to Paul Jrs place that Sr LIED not once but mulitiple times. Sr always attempts to put the blame game on everyone except himself..

I wish they would fire Paul Sr and only show Paul Jrs show. Paul Sr has a major Ego problem! Hey Paul Sr. Wake up, you are getting Old and Boring! Quit with your fake Blame everyone else except yourself….geez, you are sounding like Prez OBLAMER!

I love the (DRAMA) show. Just wondering how much money did Paul JR put into the OCC shop.(machinery salarys). He sure wants his share of OCC ‘s profits. Quit whinning about what you are entitled to,get off your butt and get on with your life.

Are you serious? I guess you should let everything go, don’t worry about being a partner in a company. Take the loss and move on, this may be a television series so who really knows what is real. But your statement is a pathetic way to look at anything in my opinion.

Jr, has a idea but Sr. has a idear ?? what the hell is a IDEAR ?

Pouly designed the bikes and vinnie built them. Jr was as irrelevant as senior.

  9. G Come on

Paul Jr took advantage of what he had at OCC. The fact of the matter is if Vinnie would have been the son he would have made just as good or better bikes as Paul Jr. Paul designed what he wanted and Vinnie and Rick did all the work. The bottom line is if there was no foundation or OCC to begin with which Sr. started there would be no Paul Jr to talk about. There are plenty of bike builders better than Jr. that aren’t on tv and as far as Sr. being a bully, he is not. He just a boss like on every other job. Vinnie left and is still Jr’s flunky.

are you guys all crazy? Can you not see that they are all playing up this conflict for ratings? The show was getting tired, so they all sat around a board room table and came up with this over the top conflict, and you are all buying it like its real. Its not real at all. Its simply contrived, somewhat like xfactor is contrived, and manipulating. Its all fake guys, to improve the ratings and keep the show going in a down market for their product.

I use to feel that Sr. was really beating down on Jr. especially after their separation. It was a real turn off to see him bad mouth his own son, put him down and look so insecure as a father. Yet, the thing is – I think that Paul Sr. is really a decent man deep down who loves his children but was extremely hurt and frustrated by his sons. Also, he and Paulie have that built in competativeness which Senior should have NEVER allowed to cause a rift of this kind. A Father should always always be on his kids’ side even when they disappoint them.

Paul Jr. also contributed to the problem by refusing to adapt his habits to that of his Fathers will – afterall it was his dads business and OLD SCHOOL or not – he expected alot from his son. But I do think probably Paulie always felt that no matter what he did his Dad either saw it as a competition or it just wasn’t going to be good enough so early on he learned not to care. Bad combination of behaviors between the both of them.

What I don’t get is why can’t these people just sit down and talk and talk and talk until its all out? Whenever you see them speaking about it, (mikey too) you see this tension in all of the conversations – so they’re either “talking around” the issues or screaming at each other and not getting real about anything. Also, when you look back on reruns of the episodes Paul Sr. really treated Mikey VERY well. So while I understand him feeling torn about the situation plus anything that happened as a result of having an alcoholic father – I don’t understand why he just keeps going on about his Dad not “changing” and all that stuff. Clearly, Paul Sr. has tried to reach out to him over and over again.

You can see the pain on Paul Srs. face everytime. This is a man who has made plenty of mistakes. He has a huge amount of pride that hides deep pain that probably doesn’t allow him to admit how much he screwed up when they were children but here’s the thing: GET OVER IT GUYS!! YOUR FATHER IS NOT GOING TO BE AROUND MUCH LONGER and all the stress is clearly written on his face. He has tried. Failed yes, but the man loves his family – his children and for you to keep holding this grudge, is unforgivable. You can have “some” relationship with him and still keep boundaries if necessary but according to what we see on TV, your ‘armslength’ approach is damaging the chance at reconciliation. The more this occurs another dagger goes into your Old mans heart…literally.

Trust me when I say as a person who was deeply wounded by her own father, it took me a very long time to come to a point where I learned to “accept” who my father was while still having some resentment – but I had to finally put it aside. IT was too late. I barely got to see or experience the person my Dad had become when he died at the early age of 73 suddenly. Do you want that to be your legacy? Your last memories of you and your Dad? Your old man despite his shortcomings put you both where you are and rejoiced in being able to have you part of that. Remember this?

PLEASE, IF YOU READ THIS and haven’t resolved to move towards your Father, do it now. Make it a priority. Put pride and heartache aside and reach out to him. He isn’t Satan. He’s just another human being; fallible, vulnerable but still capable of love and worthy to receive it too.

The venders who supply custom bike frames, custom made wheels, custom made enguines, custom leather seats, custom paint design and applications are nowhere to be seen in the OCC shop except on delivery day. These exceptionaly talented people are given only a token short scene once every ten episodes or so to display their abilities that contribute so much to the final product . Considering how important they have proved to be in
final result and success of these outstanding machines makes me wonder how so much attention is given to the crew that assembles and bolts them together.” Great job Bro” and a slap on the back seems more than a bit weak
and almost insulting. Sr and Jr should try harder to share the credit to these hard working folks. Give credit where credit is due and leave something for someone other than yourselves.

I know they have made celebs out of these guys and that lets them do good things for good causes but maybe the format of the programme could swing towards the bikes for a change and let us see more of the production and fabrication. Just an idea for a bike show. Maybe even indroduce other builders onto the show and compete at some of the big bike events for best build / design?
