Alvin Greene South Carolina Senate nominee…a Republican plant?
Man oh manischewitz, something wacky is going on in South Carolina…
Alvin Greene, a totally random, unemployed, and apparently mentally challenged guy out of nowhere, wins the Democratic nomination for Senate…by 20 points! In an interview with Keith Olbermann, this guy was barely intelligible, and seemed confused at the simplest questions. Moreover, there was another man with him on the sidelines feeding him answers.

He refused to answer questions about a felony obscenity charge, and has failed to adequately explain how an unemployed man could come up with the 11K necessary to file for candicacy.
High ranking Democrat Jim Clyburn is calling out for him to leave the race, based on his felony charges and the fact that something fishy is obviously going down in the state of Denmark…errr…South Carolina. Truth is, if you dig a little deeper some interesting things immediately become apparent. First off, the Democratic primary is open to ALL parties, which means that Republicans could vote as well. That being the case, whoever had the wherewithal to front his fee money, and orchestrate this bamboozlement, certainly could have gotten together a coalition to help vote him in.
Another tantalizing matzoh ball is Jim Clyburn’s claim that it has happened before…twice, both in the state of South Carolina. Gregory Brown ran against Clyburn for his seat, and was mysteriously able to fund expensive TV ads despite not showing a dime in contributions. Additionally a man called Ben Frazier ran for a SC state race, this time winning by ten points, again without disclosing his financial backing.
Well, then it’s all very simple…follow the money. Find out who paid for Greene’s fee, who’s funding him now, and soon enough this wacky plot might start unraveling. This is actually what Clyburn’s calling for… to investigate the funding source.
What makes all of this that much creepier is how out of it Greene is. He seriously comes across as a simpleton. Which makes you wonder…which would be worse; if he’s a Republican plant…or if 60% of South Carolinians actually legitimately voted for him?
For the record, Greene says he will not withdraw his candidacy.
